Kitchen safety for your home festivities!
Treasure is wishing you happy holidays!
As the festivities begin, we want to make sure you are fully equipped to enjoy a FUN and SAFE time with friends and family!
Here are kitchen safety tips to keep in mind for the season:
1. Cooking for the family? Make sure to keep the cold foods refrigerated and the hot foods hot. Cover food always!
2. Provide plenty of disposable towels and keep surfaces clean. This will allow people to clean up after themselves and limit the build up of bacteria mold. Remember it never hurts to give the guests a disclaimer to support in keeping the surfaces clean!
3. Keep an eye out for the stove and hot surfaces. Make sure you turn off the stove once the party is over, and have someone else double check the kitchen before heading to bed.
4. Keep sharp items out of the general way, make sure people are aware if there are any hazards, and alert guests with children if there are areas that should be limited off.
5. Clean the oven the night or next day before turning it on- if it’s not properly cleaned it can start a fire!
We hope you enjoy your time with loved ones, we are here to be a friend to the community, your TRUST is our TREASURE!
